Sandy picture update 2-29-08

UPDATE 2-28-08

Ok well we are finally starting to see improvement with Sandy's eyes and the itching is not as prevalent. I hope to get more pictures tomorrow :0)

UPDATE 2-25-08

Ok well over the weekend Sandy didn't do so well :0( Not knowing anything about eye problems Sandy rubbed her eyes and caused an ulcer :0( The vet says this is from Allergy however, I pray this is because she needs Entropian surgery. The vet gave me an ultimatum either she wears an E Collar or goes on Prednisone. :0( I don't want to do either one so I am desperate to find more information regarding this. If you are a Bulldog owner or know anything about the breed at all I am begging for any type of help. I will schedule her Entropian surgery soon if my vet don't want to do it I will go to an eye specialist I just need the girl to see again so she can run and play like she used to :0( I will try and get more pictures for you soon.....

UPDATE: 2-22-08

Before this was the first day here at home (left) & After this was 3 weeks later the day after eye surgery (right)

Sandy has made it through her first surgery. We were supposed to do the Cherry Eye and the Entropian but the Cherry took too long so we will go back under the knife in a month or so. Although you can not tell much from pictures her right eye is much better. I will post pictures as she heals these pics below are day one after surgery.

Update: Sandy is progressing very well :0) Her vision and hearing are much better if you look closely in the pics below we managed to eliminate the ear infection :0) She is now running and play fighting with her brothers and sisters and comes to us when we call her (which means she can hear very well :0)~) Her eyes are much clearer although still cloudy. The Cherry in her left eye has just about disappeared which is amazing!!!! With Entropian & Cherry eye surgery nearing I am getting very excited she may have almost normal vision!!!!.

Update Sandy can hear and see a little better. I have managed to control the yeast infection, skin problem, nose, feet & we have an opening in her ears now and the redness has gone away :0) Looks like she is going to have her eye surgery soon :0)

Sandy was a client at our vets office. Born with many problems her owners could not care for her the time it took and money they had to spend they gave up. She was blind, deaf & just kind of existed outside on their back porch. They even told me she kept falling into the pool. :0( I couldn't resist this face and told them I would take her home. So this is where it all started.

Here is a list of Sandy's problems (some from birth and some from not enough care :0(  )

Sandy needs Entropian Surgery this is her last hurdle :0)
